Having experienced the crux of the video game industry, I can say with certainty that good writing (or even a good story, for that matter) rarely has to do with the quality of a game.  Go into a Gamestop and look at the walls of video games.  Entertainment is not always synonymous with dialogue and story arcs, and thats perfectly OK.  I myself have enjoyed plenty of gaming experiences that are visually stunning, action-packed and perhaps a little bloody.

It would be a jaded game reviewer indeed that faulted the game too much when the rest of the experience was so good.

I really enjoyed this one, the story and characters are great, it never gets boring, it even made me laugh. The difficulty was just right, any frustrations were my own doing. Its my shortest gap between purchase and completion in ages, and thats purely because I kept coming back to see where the story would take me. Its simply a fun game. I finished another game! Uncharted: Drakes Fortune becomes the first ps3 game Ive completed.
I really enjoyed this one, the story and characters are great, it never gets boring, it even made me laugh. The difficulty was just right, any frustrations were my own doing. Its my shortest gap between purchase and completion in ages, and thats purely because I kept coming back to see where the story would take me. Its simply a fun game. We are completely in love with Cambodia! We got here yesterday and quickly went out and hit a temple complex called Angkor Thom. We passed Angkor Wat, the big one, on the way there.  The town that we are staying in is Siem Reap, which basically only exists as a staging ground for tourists going to the temples.  The center of town is all Westerners and Western Its not bad but certainly not authentic Canbodia.

I recently watched the movie WANTED with Angelina Jolie.  It was another one of her action packed adventures.  Mostly unrealistic, similar to Tomb Raider and Gone in 60 Seconds, but yet has awesome graphics.   I have always viewed her as beautiful. In my opinion, I have enjoyed most of the movies I have seen with her in it. She is a great actress, a devoted humanitarian both her and her husband.
But now I see her as just another mother, of I think 5 now. However, my husband views her differently.  Like most husbands he sees the sex symbol ......

10:00  12:00  Retreated back home to go on the computer. No idea what I was on, but hazarding a random guess& FACEBOOK.

We dont have sharks in Venice.
I don?t know what it is about fish movies, but they seem to be much harder than you would think, or at least they must be considering the relatively low hit rate.
Sharks in Venice has possibly the most awesome non-Troma title that I?ve seen in a long time. It just oozes possibilities. The idea of hungry sharks running rampage in a city famous for singing Italian sleaze merchants on gondolas has so much potential.

Today we had breakfast at the hotel and then headed to Angkor Wat for the day. We saw three temples, including the one where Tomb Raider was shot, before lunch and then finished the day with the piece of resistance (the Angkor Wat compound), which included a slight detour thanks to an enthusiastic guide. It is a little weird doing the tourist thing but it is very much needed for a couple of reasons.
